About the project
A series of lectures on mental health problems; 18 May 2024, Białystok, ul. Sosabowskiego 28; 29 May 2024, Primary School No. 38 in Białystok.
We invite you to a series of lectures introducing the most common mental health problems affecting adults, young people and children in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. Participants will also learn which prevention programmes are currently available to them and where they can turn for help. The first event will take place on 18 May 2024 in Białystok at ul. Sosabowskiego 28 from 9:00 a.m., and the second on 29 May 2024 from 9:00 a.m. at Primary School No. 38 in Białystok. During the meetings, led by a doctor, a psychologist, a dietitian, a personal trainer, paramedics and many other specialists, participants will learn how to recognise the first symptoms of mental health disorders, when to see a specialist and how to support loved ones in such situations. The lectures will cover topics such as a child's mental development in the first 12 months of life, mental illness in children and adults, and support in coping with stress. Activities for younger participants are provided. This public task is co-financed by the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
