We are proud to announce that representatives of the Zdrowe Miasto Foundation took part in the international conference "Civil society as a factor of resilience and preparedness for crisis phenomena in the contemporary EU. Experience and challenges", held on 9–10 June 2025 at the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk.

The event was carried out as a public task co-financed by the National Freedom Institute — Centre for Civil Society Development. During the conference, the Foundation's representatives took an active part in plenary sessions, discussion panels and workshops focused on the role of civic organisations in preventing crises and strengthening social resilience. Taking part in the event made it possible to exchange experience and good practice and to make contact with representatives of organisations from across Europe.

An integral part of the event were study visits to institutions and local initiatives in Gdańsk, such as the Neighbourhood Energy Incubator, the Dolna Brama Centre and the Humanitarian Town of the Polish Red Cross. These meetings gave first-hand insight into cross-sector work and innovative approaches to responding to crisis situations.

The task produced tangible results: it strengthened the team's skills, made international contacts possible and inspired further work in the area of crisis management.
